Greg Shaterian passed away in February, 2004. This is my small tribute to the man I'll
always know as the "NARC Flagman". As NARC's photographer and webmaster from 1996-97,
I got to know Greg, and have many memories, and photos of him in action. From an early
age, I was facinated by the flagman when I went to the races, and always wanted to be one.
Greg was a professional, no-nonsense, workingman's starter - he was fair and impartial,
and didn't take any gruff from anyone.
Rest in peace, Greg Shaterian - 1949 - 2004
